In July 2019, Elite Highways was commissioned by Highways England to carry out a major project on the M180 motorway in Lincolnshire. The project involved the removal of existing steel VRS (Vehicle Restraint System) from the central reserve, the replacement of drainage, including repairs and new manhole chambers, and the installation of new road construction ahead of the installation of a new vehicle safety barrier system.

The project was completed on time and within budget. The existing steel VRS was removed safely and without causing any disruption to traffic. The new drainage system was installed to a high standard and is now fully compliant with all relevant regulations. The new road construction was also completed to a high standard and is now providing a safe and reliable surface for motorists.
