In April 2021, Elite Highways began providing labour resources for a Vehicle Restraint Systems (VRS) “find and fix” scheme. This scheme involved surveying existing VRS systems in Highways England Area 7 to identify any that were damaged or non-compliant. The damaged or non-compliant VRS systems were then replaced with new ones.
